The hula icon says a lot about us: She's classic and fun, but the hula dance is also an age-old way of telling stories in a very creative way. And that's what we're all about: We want to tell your story.

Deborah Carrington Flack has been a professional writer for more than 20 years. After graduating from Union College, Schenectady, NY, she moved to England where her undergraduate thesis on D. H. Lawrence was published. After pulling many a pint at the Saracen's Head in Bath, she finally landed a position editing weekly trade magazines for motor manufacturers. Upon returning the States she progressed through a series of editorial management positions with TVData (now Tribune Media), that took her from copy editor to Vice President of the Publishing Division. As the Managing Editor of the Features Division, she assigned, edited and wrote television features stories, which were syndicated to newspapers in print and online throughout the U.S and Canada. During the course of her 13-year career with the company, she was responsible for the sales, marketing, and promotion of a number of new business initiatives.
